The Girard Perregaux 42.0 watch movement, used during the period 1962-1967, features a micro rotor and a double jewel bearing with 30 jewels. It also includes a double excenter regulator for curb pins and stud carrier. The movement incorporates a selfwinding gear that switches direction through a pinion floating between two large jewels. Additionally, the indirectly driven minute hand allows for a low profile design.
