This 1980s Oris Pointer Date 7400C is one of the first pointer date watches Oris released and started their line of pointer date watches that still continues today.

With its wonderful case with coin edge bezel, beautiful dial with applied indicies and waffle texture, elegant gold cathedral hands, and crescent moon pointer date hand, this watch really shines. This watch is an absolutely stunning piece on the wrist, and this particular example is in near-NOS (new old stock) condition.

The watch features a beautiful case with sharp lines and OEM finishing. The watch has a new acrylic dive crystal, freshly cleaned dial and hands, a new high-end strap, and a beautiful Oris 584 (ETA 2688 based) automatic movement that has been overhauled and restored to OEM specs. The watch has a display back which allows the movement to be visible when the watch is flipped over. Ths Oris Pointer Date 7400C is in beautiful restored condition as per our extensive restoration and authentication process.

This Oris features the modern Oris 584 (modified ETA 2688) automatic movement. Oris modified the ETA 2688 movement and added their own pointer date module, making the Oris 584. The beat rate for this watch is a modern 28,800 vph. The watch is 32mm in diameter making it suitable for ladies or men that enjoy smaller watches. The new high-end strap will fit wrists up to 6 3/4″ and I recommend the watch for wrist sizes between 6″ and 6 3/4″. The dial, movement, crown, and case are all signed Oris. The watch has a new crown and caseback gasket, and combined with the new dive crystal, this watch features mid-range water resistance.

As with all our restored pieces we sell, this 1980s Oris Pointer Date 7400C comes with our zero-headache warranty.
