This 1970s Universal Geneve White Shadow is an amazing razor-thin watch designed by Gerald Genta. The watch features the rare deep-blue sunburst dial, beautiful white-stick indicies and white-stick hands, the original Universal Geneve Gay Frères bracelet, and a record breaking 5.6mm thick case that houses a stunning Universal Geneve microrotor movement. The Universal Geneve microrotor movement found in this watch was the thinnest automatic movement for several decades after it was released. The case is a lovely and unique cushion style design with circular brushing. The watch features a new acrylic crystal, delicately cleaned dial and hands, restored steel case, restored original Universal Geneve Gay Frères bracelet, and a Universal Geneve 2-66 automatic microrotor movement that has been overhauled and restored to OEM specs. The watch is in beautiful restored condition as per our extensive restoration and authentication process.

This Universal Geneve White Shadow features an overhauled and restored in-house Universal Geneve 2-66 microrotor automatic that is beautifully finished. The watch runs at 19,800 vph. The movement is automatic winding. The watch is 35.5-36mm in diameter but does wear slightly larger due to its shape and bracelet. The watch is an unbelievably small 5.6mm thick, so it wears very light on the wrist. The dial, case, bracelet, crown are all signed Universal Geneve. The adjustable Universal Geneve Gay Frères bracelet will fit wrists up to 7 3/4″.

As with all our restored pieces we sell, this Genta designed 1970s Universal Geneve White Shadow comes with our zero-headache warranty.
