The Tissot 894 watch movement, utilized exclusively by Mido from 1951 to 1960, is a variant of the 917P model, featuring additional quality. It incorporates an Incastar regulator, which is the sole regulator of its kind to include a freely oscillating hairspring. The spring's end is secured between two rollers, adjusting its length and avoiding isochronism errors caused by the gap between the regulator pins. This movement boasts a number of functions, including automatic winding, sweep seconds, and Incabloc shock protection.
