The Record 45 is an open-face calibre watch movement that was used in watches produced between 1922 and 1953. It features a ratchet on the dial side and a crown mechanism with a rocker bar. Notably, the watch and alarm functions are driven by a single barrel, where a device enables 1.5 revolutions of the mainspring arbor to be utilized for the alarm. The alarm loudness can be adjusted to some extent using a screw at 5:30h, while a screw with a self-blocking thread allows for fine sound adjustment. The alarm wheel is located in the dial. Additionally, the movement includes a stem wind and pin set alarm function, as well as a sub-second display.
