
The Longines 320 watch movement, which was in use around 1975, features several functions including manual wind, sweep seconds, and a quickset date mechanism that can be activated by repeatedly pulling and pushing the crown. The movement also incorporates shock protection and a sweep seconds hand. In early samples of the movement, the minute wheel was noted to run on ruby studs.
