The Elgin 146 watch movement is a hunter calibre with a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. The movement features varying bridge shapes and shares the same calibre signature for both open face and hunter style cases. The functions of the movement include stem winding and setting, as well as a sub-second display. This particular movement was commonly used around the period of 1940.
