The Zenith 88.8-5-6 watch movement is a manual wind movement with sub-second functionality. The movement incorporates a pin-lever escapement and features a ratchet on the dial side, as well as a crown mechanism with a rocker bar. It bears a close resemblance to the balance screws found in high-end movements. Notably, there is similarity with the 1343 movement, although specific differences between the two are not currently known. The Zenith 88.8-5-6 movement is commonly associated with watches produced around the 1950s.
