The Zenith 5 1/2 is a mechanical watch movement with an open face calibre. It offers stem winding and setting capabilities, along with a sub second function. It is believed to feature an optional Breguet hairspring and possibly a left-handed ratchet-wheel screw. The movement is part of a group which includes the 431, 435, 439, 445, 451, and 479, although the differences between them are not known and are likely related to the varying bridge shapes. The Zenith 5 1/2 was commonly used around 1945.
