The Waltham 870SS watch movement was produced between 1895 and 1899, with a total of 6000 units manufactured. It features a hunter calibre, specifically the model 6, equipped with a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. The movement incorporates a negative stem mechanism, allowing for easy switching between winding and setting by either the crown or the lever.
