The Waltham 1897 watch movement is a mechanical, manually-wound movement with a sweep second function. It features a bimetallic screw balance and a stem mechanism without a setting-lever spring. The bridge shapes on the movement may differ from the Ebel 8.75''' model. There are several other similar Felsa movements, including the 158, 159, 185, 208, 212, 220, 238, 246, 251, 259, 261, and 277, but the exact differences between them are unknown. The Waltham 1897 movement was commonly used around 1925.
