
The Universal Geneve 288 watch movement, also known as Alpina 819 and Rolex 600, was manufactured by Aegler during the period of 1922-1937. It features a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. This manual wind movement operates with a sub second function. The Universal Geneve 288 movement was used starting from 1922 and onwards.
