The Universal Geneve 215-97 watch movement is an automatic calibre with a sweep second function. The movement features a fixed stud carrier in its early production period, which was later replaced with a mobile stud carrier design. Different rotor shapes were used during the production period, similar to other calibres in the same family. The Universal Geneve 215-97 watch movement was in use from 1952 onwards.
