The Universal Geneve 215-9 watch movement was developed in 1988 and features a free Breguet hairspring, a balance with regulating screws, and Kif shock protections for the balance and escapement wheel. It is equipped with a strangely train and hand gear that are separately driven by the barrel. This movement offers several functions, including automatic winding, a sweep second hand, dual time capability with a 24-hour quickset function, quickset date, and a hack feature. Additionally, it incorporates shock protection to ensure durability and reliability. The Universal Geneve 215-9 movement was used in watches produced around the period of 1986.
