The Universal Geneve 2-42 watch movement is an open face calibre with a bimetallic screw balance that features four adjustment screws. It is equipped with a Breguet hairspring. There are only minor differences between the Eterna 403 and Universal Geneve 2-42 movements. The Universal Geneve 2-42 movement offers stem wind and set functions, as well as sub seconds. It was produced around 1931.
