The Universal Geneve 1-69 watch movement was introduced in 1962 and underwent some modifications in its design during its production period. Early samples of the movement featured a fixed stud carrier, while later samples had a mobile stud carrier and a pierced balance cock. The movement is equipped with an automatic winding mechanism and includes a sweep seconds function. The Universal Geneve 1-69 movement remained in use from 1962 onwards.
