The Unitas 473 is a manual-wind chronograph watch movement that was used from 1916 to 1974. It features two pushers, with early samples utilizing a Breguet hairspring and late samples incorporating a flat hairspring, mobile stud carrier, and optional Triovis regulator. The movement offers a sub-second function and includes day and month features that can be set using a pusher at the 10 o'clock position (with a deeper push needed for adjusting the day). Additionally, the Unitas 473 has a date hand that can be set using a pusher at the 8:30 position. This movement uses a pillar wheel mechanism and also has the option for an automatic function.
