The Tissot 709-1 watch movement, produced from 1897 to 1913 with a total of 10,000 units, features an open face calibre known as model 3. This movement incorporates a bimetallic screw balance, Breguet hairspring, and a pink-gold center wheel. It also includes a negative stem mechanism with an additional lever, enabling the user to switch between winding and setting functions using the crown in the lever position.
