The Tissot 31-1 watch movement is a widely comparable alternative to the Seiko 6601B. Developed by Seiko, it features a ball-bearing rotor, sophisticated excenter self-winding mechanism with a single gear stage, and a stem mechanism without a setting-lever spring. In addition, it employs the Seiko-Diafix combined settings for the escapement wheel. The movement supports automatic functionality, eliminating the need for manual winding. It also includes sweep seconds to enhance timekeeping precision.
