The Tissot 27-1T watch movement, produced in the period between 1896 and 1898, consisted of 33,000 units. This open face caliber model 5 featured a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. Notably, it had a ratchet located under the base plate and a negative stem mechanism complemented by a rocker bar. The movement allowed for stem winding with switching options available through the crown or lever. Additionally, it included a sub-second function.
