The Tissot 2501 watch movement, introduced in 1931, was the first automatic movement to feature rotor winding. It is equipped with a Breguet hairspring and has a detached manual wind system. The movement incorporates sub second functionality and is an automatic movement. The Tissot 2501 movement has been utilized in watch production from 1931 onwards.
