The Tissot 2351 watch movement, produced between 1898-1899, featured an open face calibre with model 5. It included a bimetallic screw balance and Breguet hairspring, characteristic of its design. An interesting feature was the placement of the ratchet under the base plate and the inclusion of a negative stem mechanism with a rocker bar. The movement offers switchable stem winding capabilities through both the crown and lever, and incorporates a sub-second function.
