The Tissot 11.7-T watch movement, produced from 1972 to 1975, is characterized by its trade marks, Astrolon and Sytal. The movement’s first samples were introduced in 1960 as water-resistant movements. Notably, the Tissot 11.7-T movement is nearly entirely constructed with self-lubricating plastic materials. It features an indirect minute hand and a friction clutch on the barrel. Functionally, this movement is a manual wind movement with a sweep second hand and a calendar that is set by changing the time from 23-24h.
