The Standard 974 watch movement is a manual wind movement that was used around 1970. Its features include a pin-lever escapement and a stem mechanism without a setting-lever spring. Additionally, the movement exhibits a peculiar arrangement where the train and hand gear are separately driven by the barrel. It does not include a second hand.
