It was the first movement to incorporate a stem winding and setting mechanism without the use of a pin or lever. The movement utilizes a wolf teeth winding gear and features a flying barrel with Geneva stopwork. The timekeeping accuracy is ensured by the inclusion of a Moustache lever and a bimetallic screw balance. The movement also provides the functions of stem winding and setting, as well as a sub-second display.
