The Seiko 7016A watch movement is a micro rotor, detached manual wind mechanism that allows for a low profile design. Its indirectly driven minute and second hands contribute to the compact form. The movement features automatic winding, a sweep second function, and a date display that can be set by adjusting the 21-24 hour range. This movement was used during the period from 1958 to 1960.
