The Seiko 5M42A is a quartz movement introduced during the period from 1985 to 1988. With a diameter of 23.3mm, this movement features a quartz controlled stepper motor, an analog display, and a sweep second function. It also includes a stop seconds feature and a quickset date calendar. The movement is powered by a battery and has an End-of-Life display (E.O.L.).
