
The Seiko 5625B watch movement, developed and used from 1962-1965, features a ball-bearing micro rotor and a detached manual winding mechanism. It utilizes a micrometer regulator and the Girocap combined settings for the escapement wheel with 28 jewels. The indirectly driven minute and second hands allow for a low-profile design. The 68 movement is similar to the 218, but it incorporates an enhanced winding mechanism. Additionally, the Seiko 5625B movement provides automatic winding and a sweep second function.
