The Rolex 630 watch movement was produced between 1956 and 1963. It features a pin-lever escapement with ruby pins and a detached manual wind mechanism. On the dial side, there is a ratchet and a crown mechanism with a rocker bar. The base movement and automatic module are pillar designs, allowing easy access to lubrication spots for partial maintenance. The specific differences between the 57/22 and the 58/21 are unknown. Additionally, the movement exhibits varying balances with a pulse jewel on a spoke. It includes functions such as automatic winding, date adjustment within a range of +/- 24 hours, sweep seconds, and a calendar.
