The Roamer 450 is an open face calibre with a unique crown mechanism featuring a rocker bar and a ratchet on the back side. The crown wheel does not serve any functional purpose. It is speculated that there is a left-handed ratchet-wheel screw. The movement exhibits different bridge shapes compared to its predecessor, the A. Schild 579. The Roamer 450 movement offers stem winding and setting function with a sub-second display.
