The Recta B manual wind movement, used around 1950, features a wheel arrangement that accommodates a center-second wheel and barrel on the same layer, resulting in a relatively thin construction despite the inclusion of a sweep second. The revolution change in the barrel direction necessitates an extra wheel in the winding gear. Variants of the 1290 movement include the 1291 with a date hand, the 1349 with day and date indications, the 1380 with day, date, and month indications, and the 1510 variant designed for strongly domed dials.
