The Puw 49 is a hunter calibre watch movement with options such as a bimetallic screw balance with 2 adjustment screws and a Breguet hairspring. It is available in heights of 4.1, 4.75, and 5.0mm, with different bridge shapes compared to other versions. These calibres are not well-documented in the literature, but multiple calibres with slight differences are listed under the designation 99. Therefore, in this archive, the calibre number 99 is extended by construction height and generation number. The Puw 49 movement features stem wind and set functions, has a sub second, and was used around 1928.
