The Peseux 172 watch movement features a manual wind mechanism and a sub second function. In later samples, the setting lever is equipped with a pin instead of a screw, and the minute wheel also has a pin. These parts can be used for older samples by removing the minute-wheel pin from the plate and using a modified setting-lever spring. The Peseux 172 movement was used in watches produced from 1964 onwards.
