The Otero 48 is a watch movement that was used from 1964 to 1972, specifically designed for the Ocean Star models. It features a lever on the dial side that allows for easy release of the stem. The technical details of the movement can be found in the Mido 1147OC. This automatic movement includes functions such as sweep seconds, day display that can be set by +/- 24 hours, and a date display that can be quickly adjusted by repeated pushing of the crown.
