The Otero 40 watch movement features an indirect minute, hand friction clutch on the barrel. The movement utilizes the available space in the center to house a large barrel and balance. While early samples of the movement have a fixed stud carrier, later versions have a mobile stud carrier. The movement can be manually wound and was commonly used around the 1960s.
