The Omega 685 watch movement, introduced in 1963, features a rotor placed out of center and incorporates the winding gear within the movement instead of attaching it to a manual-wind calibre. The movement is designed for automatic winding and includes a sweep second function. It is a detached manual wind movement. The Omega 685 has been in use since 1963.
