The Omega 640 watch movement is an open face calibre with options for a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. There are no known differences between the 40, 42, 44, 46, and 48 versions, except for varying bridge layouts. It features stem winding and setting, as well as a sub second display. The Omega 640 movement was commonly used around 1935.
