The Omega 590 watch movement, belonging to the 28.10 and 30.10 families, was in production from 1943 to 1955, with over 1,300,000 units manufactured. It was a chronometer movement featuring an excenter regulator and Incabloc shock protection. This movement offered several functions including automatic (bumper) winding, a sweep second hand, and the option of a power reserve display. The Omega 590 movement was utilized during the period from 1949 to 1952.
