The Nivada 832 watch movement was a base calibre that was passed from Election to Marvin around 1960, and eventually to Longines in the late 60s. It is worth noting that many parts of the movement are interchangeable among these three manufacturers. The movement is primarily characterized by its manual winding mechanism, sub-second function, and it was primarily used during the period of approximately 1950.
