The Minerva 40 watch movement, which was used from 1936 onwards, features a Breguet hairspring and allows for the use of three different hand post heights, making it applicable in various flat and curved models. Gruen utilizes its proprietary Conoruma alloy for the hairspring and balance, which significantly reduces temperature dependence. This movement functions as a manual wind with a sub-second feature.
