The Mido 001137 watch movement, which was used in the period of 1961-1963, features an automatic winding mechanism. It is equipped with a sub-second function and a date display that can be adjusted by changing the time between 22:30 and 24:00. The movement also includes a rather large balance and a ratchet on the dial side, with the crown mechanism incorporating a rocker bar. Additionally, the Mido 001137 movement utilizes a ball-bearing rotor with a peripheral gear that is positioned off-center, possibly always employing five ruby balls.
