The Kienzle 48/76 watch movement was produced from 1903 to 1935, with a total production of 524,000 units. It features an open face calibre, known as model 7, and is equipped with a bimetallic screw balance and a Breguet hairspring. The movement incorporates a negative stem mechanism, allowing for switching between winding and setting through the stem in lever position. Similar to other calibres like the 210, the escapement of the Kienzle 48/76 is modified. Additional functions of the movement include stem winding with switching options via the crown or lever, as well as a sub second display.
