The Kasper 1401 watch movement was produced between 1962 and 2000. It features a pin-lever escapement and a straightforward manufacturing process with many wheels being punched and piano-string wire used in drilled aluminium arbors instead of engine-turned pivots. The movement allows for stem winding and setting, and includes a sub second function.
