Return To ShopThe Junghans J9 watch movement, which was in use from 1953 to 1960, features an intermediate wheel positioned between the minute pinion and the rest of the train. This design allows for a large balance wheel and a low-profile without compromising durability. Additionally, this layout provides flexibility for placing the seconds wheel either in the center or for a sub second, without requiring any further modifications. The Junghans J9 movement is manually wound, incorporates a sweep second function, and includes a date feature which can be set by changing the time to 20:45-24h.
