The Junghans J8 is a open face calibre movement featuring a Breguet hairspring and early samples with a bimetallic screw balance. It shares similar characteristics with the 526, 540, and 548 movements, with the only discernible differences being in bridge layouts. The movement supports stem winding and setting, as well as sub-second functionality. It was primarily utilized during the approximate period of 1930.
