The Junghans 651.12 is an automatic watch movement that was used from 1962 to 1967. It features a micro rotor and a double jewel bearing with 30 jewels. The movement includes a double excenter regulator for curb pins and stud carrier. It also incorporates a selfwinding gear with direction switching by a pinion floating between two large jewels. The indirectly driven minute and second hands allow for a low profile design. Additionally, the hour wheel in this movement runs in an oval hole and is pressed by a spring that is integrated into wheel C, providing precise bearing and requiring less height. The movement includes the functions of automatic winding and a sweep second hand.
