The International Durowe 7527-1 watch movement, introduced in 1977, possesses remarkable features that made it the thinnest automatic movement with date and sweep second at the time. Comparable movements without date and/or sweep second were only able to slightly surpass its slender design even in 2003. Equipped with a micrometer regulator and two serially coupled barrels, one with a fixed spring and the other with a slip spring, this movement offers reliable performance. Additionally, it shares similarities with the Lemania 8810. The International Durowe 7527-1 movement boasts several notable functions, including automatic winding, a quickset date feature, and a hack mechanism. It is a mechanical movement without a second hand, and it has been utilized from 1977 onwards.
