Return To ShopThe International Durowe 1268 watch movement, manufactured from 1958 to 1963, is a chronometer quality movement featuring a flat freesprung hairspring and a stud carrier regulator with friction gear. It also incorporates the unique DuraBalance regulator, which utilizes a balance with two regulating weights that are shifted simultaneously along spiral-shaped spokes using a regulator lever. The balance settings are combined, while shock protection is achieved through the use of elastical balance spokes. The movement's architecture allows for a large balance and a robust rotor bearing, with the indirectly driven minute hand making ample space for these components. Additionally, this watch movement is automatic, with two roller freewheels stacked on the rotor hub. Notably, the ratchet is only present in the self-winding gear, and the crown mechanism includes a rocker bar.
