Return To ShopThe Illinois 403 watch movement is an open face calibre and the first documented pin-lever pocketwatch calibre produced by Kienzle. It features a pin-lever escapement and a coarse imitation of balance screws. The movement includes an early two-section regulator for coarse and fine adjustment, with a ratchet located under the base plate. The crown mechanism is equipped with a rocker bar. It was originally designated as 14-44 but later simplified to 44. The movement offers stem winding, the option for pin setting, and includes a sub second function. It was commonly used during the approximate period of 1930.
