The Illinois 401 is a mechanical watch movement with a bimetallic screw balance. It belongs to a series of movements that include the 71, 73, 75-80, 144, 166, 167, 203, 205, 216, 219, 240, 244, 255, 268, 284, 286, 287, and 326, with differences not known. The Illinois 401 movement features manual winding, a sub second display, and a sweep seconds function. It was used during approximately 1935.
